Rath Yatra at Home (toy chariot puja)

Rath Yatra celebrates Lord Jagannath's yearly journey from the Puri temple to the Gundicha temple with his brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra on huge wooden chariots. Pulling the chariot's rope is believed to bring great blessing; at home families recreate it with a small chariot.
