Vishwakarma Puja — Worship of Tools, Machines & Vehicles

Vishwakarma is the divine architect and engineer of the gods — tradition credits him with Dwarka, Indraprastha, Lanka, the gods' weapons and the Pushpaka chariot. On his day workers honour the skill and the tools that feed their families: machines are cleaned and rested, garlanded and given tilak, and Vishwakarma is asked for safe, successful work in the year ahead.
